Online Recruiting Services for Employers

Welcome to Web Recruiting Services for the LER Career Services Office! Whether you wish to post a job for current students or alumni, or to come on campus to recruit your candidates, we can accomodate your needs through this system.

To access the system, please visit https://ilir-uiuc-csm.symplicity.com.

First-time users will have to register to use the system, and all registrants and job postings are approved through the LER Career Services Office. You can check if your employer has already registered with LER Career Services. If so, please call Career Services to be added as a contact and receive access to the system. Otherwise, please make a username and password and proceed to the next registration page.

Following approval, you can return to the webpage and use your login and password in the blanks for current members. Now you should see a login verification and then an Employer Center.

For questions about posting positions for entry-level HR talent, including upcoming and recent graduates, contact Nell Madigan at the LER Career Services Office via email or at 217/333-1534. If you have any problems accessing the system or questions regarding this system, please contact Wendy Gooch at 217/333-2777.

What is NACElink/Symplicity?

It is the Career Management System housed at LER. Employers may post positions for LER students and/or sch edule and manage On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) Activities. We are part of the NACELink Network, as well as part of a Multi-School Environment (MSE) here at the University of Illinois.

What is the difference between the NACElink Network and the Illinois Multi-School Environment?

Employers who use NACELink at other campuses may use their same login and password to log into LER Career Services. They also may elect to post their position at multiple NACElink participating colleges and universities. Please note that the University of Illinois does not charge a fee to post positions. However, NACElink does charge a per school fee to post at multiple colleges and universities.

We are also part of a Multi-School Environment (MSE) at Illinois, which includes Engineering Career Services, Agriculture, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) Career Services, School of Chemical Sciences Career Counseling and Placement Services, Labor and Employment Relations (LER) Career Services, and the University of Illinois Alumni Career Center. This means that when you post through I-Link, your position is also viewable by qualified students/alumni registered with any of the offices within the MSE. Please note however, that the offices DO NOT share On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) functions.
