Access the best - What to expect from LER Career Services

Using the LER Career Services Office to recruit LER students is simple. From the LER Online Recruiting services page, you can access all of LER's online employer services, such as posting jobs and requesting resume referrals. Our online services provide many advantages to employers. You have 24-hour-a-day access to your job listings, access to interview schedule information, the ability to view student resumes, and more. All employers recruiting on-campus are able to view their pre-selection and schedule information from this site. Our students use the same system to create their resumes, sign up for interviews, and review job descriptions. When you want to post a job and receive resumes, this system gives you very quick turn-around and access to the best students on the market.

You also can access experienced LER Alumni who are looking for new positions through the same site by posting jobs for experienced hires.

When you come to campus for full-time and/or internship recruiting, LER will provide:

  • Office space for interviewing at the School
  • Adjacent parking
  • Complimentary box lunch with faculty members
  • Prescheduled interviews running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with ten to twelve 30- or 45-minute interviews per schedule. We recommend this schedule to coordinate with flights that many recruiters take in and out of Willard Airport in Champaign, with direct services to airports in Dallas, Detroit and Chicago.
  • Recruiters may pre-select up to one-half of the students from the resume book or on-line posting.
