Corporate Involvement

Areas for Opportunity

Fellowships

Fellowships provide students who may not have the financial means to attend the program an opportunity to do so. To see what corporations have recently provided fellowship support to LER, click here.

How to establish an LER Fellowship

Your organization can establish a fellowship or award in any academic year with a financial contribution of $10,000. Combined with financial support by the School, the entire aid package totals between $25,000 and $45,000, depending on in-state or out-of-state tuition.

Fellowship recipients are selected primarily on the basis of academic merit.

LER fellowships can be designated to support the education of highly qualified minority students.

Event Sponsorships

Corporate support allows for the enhancement of many academic programs and functions that benefit the students and aid the School in providing a top-notch education. These events include, but are not limited to: a Leadershape workshop for incoming students; "Internship Night" for continuing students to share their corporate experiences with incoming students; the successful Alumni HR Teleconference Series; career workshops and professional development for students, including etiquette dinners, resume and interviewing workshops and time management clinics; Multicultural Fest; and a variety of panels and presentations on specialized topics in HR that are open to the whole campus. This is a wonderful way to link your organization's name with popular and successful LER activities.

Presentations

Not all corporate involvement is monetary. In fact, some of the most enriching experiences for the students are guest lectures from subject matter experts (SME's). Leaders in the field of HR imparting their knowledge in a classroom setting or as a guest speaker at an LER club event leaves a huge impression on the students.
