I am available most hours between 9am and noon and 1pm and 6pm.  Rules on appointments are as follows:

(1) If you have an individual issue or you need one-on-one tutoring, you can make an appointment or drop in.  If you drop in, it is possible that I will be working on something else and I will not be able to talk to you at that time.

(2) If you want help on your project or oral presentation, I would like the whole group to be there.  If you cannot get the whole group together, get as many as you can (2 or 3 is OK).  However, this is to be avoided whenever possible.  If you are downstairs working, you can send someone up.  You can drop in or make an appointment (see (1) above).*

(3) You can send an email at any time.  I am often available at night to answer questions.  Please do not call me at home unless there is an emergency.

(4) The best way to make an appointment is via email so that I can see my schedule, which is on the computer.

(5) I enjoy talking to students, so please come by.  I am not really as scary as I seem.

* My experience in the past is that members of groups who do not participate in the discussion with me about projects lose valuable small group teaching of important items.  Also, when only a couple (or one) persons from a group show up, there is a much higher probability that they will misinterpret the instructions that I gave them on how to do the project.
