You should use EXCEL to make all calculations for a quiz and then cut and paste the result into the quiz if the question is a fill-in-the-blank.
Click at the name of the quiz you are ready to take and it will beam you to Mallard in a new browser window. You can go back to your previous browser window by toggling between application windows (e.g. on the Windows platform, you can use Alt-Tab). Check all the boxes that correspond to all the correct answers for a question. There could be more than one correct box to be checked for any single question. You probably want to read the Web Quizzes Policy if this is your first time taking a quiz. You can also take the quizzes by logging on to Mallard and choosing the LESSONS button. For more information on the Mallard interface, please see the Mallard explanation or the Mallard FAQ. Please read the memo on security issues if you are worried about moving between a secure and a nonsecure server.
Remember to close all web browsers that are currently open and then re-open a new browser before you attempt a quiz. When you are done taking a quiz, again remember to click at the LOG-OUT link in the left frame of our web site and close all open browsers before you leave
