These projects are not only attempts to expose you to the use of statistics. They also serve the purpose of training you in the presentation of results. Therefore, your grade will depend on your ability to present results in a way that will be appropriate in a business setting. A good report will have the following characteristics:
The biggest single mistake that is made by groups is assigning certain parts of a report to individual group members and then putting the report together at the last minute. Sometimes, conclusions in one section are not consistent with conclusions in another section. Sometimes, the tone of the report differs from section to section. Sometimes, it is done in different typefaces. All of these distract from the overall quality of the report. Each group member is responsible for the quality of the entire project. Do not allow mistakes in one part to drag down the whole group. Do not put off your project until it is not possible to correct mistakes that are made by another group member.
