In Brief
Puchalski joined USG in 1976 as a Compensation Analyst in The Corporate Office located in Chicago. He transferred to the Gypsum, Ohio Manufacturing Plant as Employment Supervisor in 1978. In 1979, he was promoted to Personnel Superintendent, Franklin Park Plant. In March 1983, Puchalski transferred back to Corporate Headquarters as Employment Service Manager. Since then he has progressed through a series of increasingly responsible corporate and subsidiary human resources assignments in Compensation, Labor Relations, Employment and Management Development.
He was promoted to his present assignment in January 2006. In this role, Puchalski is accountable for development and implementation of a wide variety of Human Resources programs, policies and procedures at USG's manufacturing and sales facilities located throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Puchalski earned a BS in Business Administration and Geography from Elmhurst College in 1976. He lives in Bloomingdale, Illinois with his wife Nancy. They have two adult children, Matthew and Amy.
