Hazwoper
(General Site Personnel)
The 40-hour HAZWOPER program is designed for laborers/supervisors, contractors,
transporters, state/local inspectors, consultants/engineers, and waste
disposal site personnel, who are required to deal with hazardous materials.
During the program, students develop practical skills commonly used at
sites and in industry by participating in site-simulations. This course
includes a full dress-out with medical required. This course meets the
training requirements of OSHAs Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response Standard--29CFR 1910.120 and DOT's Shipper/Transporter
Standards--49CFR 172.700 & 177.800.

Annual Hazwoper Refresher
(General Site Personel)
This 8-Hour Refresher Program fulfills the requirement of the OSHAs Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard--29CFR 1910.120 and DOT's Shipper/Transporter Standards--49CFR 172.700 & 177.800. Sessions review and update skills for the protection of employees. Topics include the subjects covered in the 40-hour Hazwoper course and a review of the safety experiences of class participants. The course includes classroom lectures, demonstration, and group exercises.

Hazardous Materials Technician
The 40-hour Hazardous Material Technician Program includes all the techniques and skills learned during the Hazwoper course as well as training students to respond to unplanned releases of hazardous materials and chemical incidents. All students receive extensive hands-on training during site simulations. This course includes a full dress-out with medical required. Complies with the training requirements of OSHAs Hazardous Waste Operation and Emergency Response Standard 29 CFR 1910.120 (q) (6) and DOT's Shipper/Transporter Standards--49CFR 172.700 & 177.800.

Emergency Response Refresher (ERR)
Operations and Technicians Level
The 8-Hour Emergency Response Refresher Program reviews topics covered during the 40-hour Hazardous Material Technician level training. Training will include tasks used during chemical incidents, including hazard identification; incident management; and spill control. A full dress-out drill with debriefing concludes the training.

Web-based Lecture ERR
This course offers the opportunity for completion of the 4-hour lecture
portion of this class on-line at your convenience. Participants will be
required to attend one of the above dates for the 4-hour performance portion
of the course. Please contact us for more details.
All courses meet the training requirements of OSHA's Hazardous Wast Operations and Emergency Response Standard--29 CFR 1910.120 and DOT's Shipper/Transporter Standards--49CFR172.700 and 177.800.
Note: Medical clearance is required to attend the 40-hour Hazwoper, 40-hour Technician, 8-hour Emergency Response Refresher and Confined Space Awareness. All courses conform to the NIMS standard.
